The oldest cat England

Despite his age (and in January cat named Blackie is 24 years), it looks bewhiskered creation is clearly not drawn to the retirement age. By the standards of this animal species, in terms of human, Blackie next year will be 100 years (!).

Quentin Shaw, who owns a cat in 1987, surprised: "Just imagine, Blackie even survived his three litter." 49-year-old Quentin took a Blackie kitten even when she was only a few weeks.

"Blacks do not hunt and did not see in the dark, but still be independent," - says the owner. "When I took Blackie to the vet, he told me that he is so old cat he has not seen." Quentin Shaw has applied to the Guinness Book of Records, and the organizers have already expressed a desire to see Blackie personally.

For information: cats live an average 16 years.
