The car is protected "Lynx» (IVECO 65E19WM).
The car is designed for use as a means of ensuring the moving of personnel and tasks of service and combat activity of different types of troops and security agencies, as well as a transport base vehicle light weapons systems, communications and military equipment.

In 2008, an agreement was reached between the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, OJSC "KAMAZ" and the company IVECO (Italy) to carry out joint work to determine the feasibility of using military automotive technology manufacturing IVECO in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
In the period from 2009 to 2011 in order to assess compliance with the basic performance characteristics of prototypes of all-wheel drive armored vehicles IVECO 65E19WM (LMV) the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation were tested two cars received from Italy.
The explosion destroys the front chassis, greatly damages the engine, but bronekapsuly intact. Luke deliberately made so as to swing open in the explosion and thus to protect the crew from overpressure. Inside the car damage limited to offset the steering column (contact with the driver was not) and chipped plastic front panel.
Inspection revealed that the driver dummy, is closest to the point of explosion, was not injured, just flown away a piece of his panel slightly torn pants and cut his leg below the knee. Sensors record that exceeded the limit of overload for the human body was not.
On the second day were produced by two blasting explosive shell under the passenger seat to the right of the driver's seat and a rear right seat. The explosion destroyed suspended on silent blocks V-shaped steel mine protection, but the bottom bronekapsuly only slightly swollen. A penetration has occurred.

How the Italian manufacturer has achieved this result? Protection technology involves the creation of a separate bronekapsuly for the crew compartment, which includes a ceramic ballistic protection, fastened to the metal frame, standard armor plates and bulletproof. Stiffener is a special tubular frame.
The energy of the explosion gradually extinguished ceramic protection, double layer bottom, studs, roof suspension system. The seat of the crew of a vehicle through a suspension system comes considerably weakened the momentum of acceleration, which does not exceed health standards overload for the person.
Currently, the party car "Lynx» (IVECO 65E19WM (LMV)) goes operational (army) divisions in the test of the Ground Forces of Russia.
