Heaven on two Bashny.Net

April 6, 1966 at the Yak-28, managed Kapustin BV (pictured left), when he made a flight over Berlin, a failed engine. Kapustin and co-driver Jan YN (pictured right). received permission to leave the plane. But those, knowing that if they fall on bailout Yak uptown, decided to take him to a safe place on the outskirts. Complete this task and sacrificed himself Kapustin and Yanov saved hundreds of lives.





In aviamuzee Eberswalde-Finow, Germany, the memory of the heroism of the two pilots immortalized in the form of a memorial.
