November 11 several hundred people attended the funeral of Harold Percival from the UK, who died at the age of 99 years. He had no close relatives, and after his death, the local newspaper has placed a small note with a brief story about the veterans and with a note that to attend the farewell can be anyone.

As a result, the number of people who had gathered to bid farewell at the crematorium in the north-west of the country, had reached several hundred. Among them were both soldiers and civilians. The building of the crematorium not accommodate everyone, many who came were left standing in the rain with flowers.
