This criminal article provides for punishment by a fine of up to one hundred and twenty thousand rubles or the salary or other income for a period of up to one year, or by compulsory works for a term of up to three hundred and sixty hours, or correctional labor for up to one year, or imprisonment for up to three months.
According to investigators, Anatoly Serdyukov, as defense minister, verbally instructed subordinate employees to build the budget of the Ministry of highway from the village of Beauty Ikryaninskiy region Astrakhan region Island School, which is located on the territory of non-profit partnership "Rye". His order Serdyukov reportedly motivated desire to create a recreation center for the needs of the Defense Ministry. In addition, by order of former minister were also carried out work on improvement of the territory "Žitny."
"It should be noted that the works were carried out on gardening soldiers, conscripts of the aircraft, and the highway built railway battalion of troops. That is, instead of service and military training some soldiers engaged in planting poplars in the Astrakhan steppes, while others are not laying railway tracks and roads. As a result, a road was built which could be used only owners and visitors of private property "Rye". Thus any regulatory documents, orders or directives that would support the spending of budget funds, or would establish the legal rights of the Ministry of Defense on the road, not issued, "- said the official representative of IC Vladimir Markin.
As a result of these actions of the former minister of defense to the state suffered damage amounting to more than 56 million rubles.
