The interest to participate in the "tank biathlon" show representatives from more than 40 countries, including NATO members, told reporters in the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

The first international competition took place in the suburban tankers Alabino in August of 2013. The next championship is planned to take place in the period from 26 July to 10 August this year.

"Currently, active negotiations on the participation in the championship with the representatives of the defense ministries of more than 40 countries, including the CIS, and abroad, the countries of NATO. Russian Defense Ministry plans to finalize the participants of the Championship 2014 in early February and to start practical preparation of landfill sites, trails, infrastructure for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, accommodation of participants of the championship, "- said the press service.
