Esquire magazine calculated how high a layer of black caviar, foie gras or crushed Louis Vuitton bags would be if the Adler-Krasnaya Polyana Olympic Road (227 billion rubles per 48 kilometers, i.e. about 140 million dollars per kilometer, i.e. 140 thousand dollars per meter) were built from these materials.





Oysters - 6.37cm
When calculating the thickness of the layer, the price for oysters adopted in restaurants in Moscow (120 rubles per piece) was used.



Black caviar - 1.1cm
When calculating the thickness of the layer, the wholesale price of the manufacturer for a jar of beluga caviar weighing 30 grams (1,290 rubles) was used.



Louis Vuitton bags - 9cm
When calculating the thickness of the layer, the price for a Louis Vuitton Knightsbridge handbag (1,080 euros per piece) is used.



Foie gras - 21.90cm
When calculating the thickness of the layer, the price set by the French supermarket Carrefour (69 euros per kilogram) is used.
