Exercises "Union Shield 2011" - part of the operational-strategic exercises "Center-2011", which take place in seven ranges of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the composition of units Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Ukraine. At one stage of the maneuvers within the operational exercise "Union Shield 2011" to their members joined Belarus.
