The history of the group in the photos.

1. The band Nirvana, left to right: singer / guitarist Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Dave Grohl, photographed backstage Festival England's Reading Festival. Hometown group is Aberdeen, Washington. Throughout its existence, the group was at the peak of the global popularity.



2. Nirvana released the album «Nevermind» in September 1991. It was the second studio album. He has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, largely due to the super popular song «Smells Like Teen Spirit». Spencer Elden, the baby on the cover of this album, already a 17-year-old told MTV, that he was very concerned about the fact that many people have seen him naked.

Sessional album was released after Cobain's death, and debuted at number one in the Billboard 200.

10. Former drummer Dave Grohl performs at MTV Movie Awards June 5, 2011 as the frontman of his own band Foo Fighters. The band was formed in 1994 and has since released seven studio albums.
