Twice a year the golden rays migrate within the Gulf of Mexico in the warmer waters.

Rays move huge group of 10,000 individuals, filling the sea surface various shades of gold.



Despite the innocuous appearance, they are armed with poisonous sting, which can be deadly to humans (for protection against sharks, their main enemies).
