White Tiger - is a recessive mutant of the Bengal tiger, which is sometimes found in nature in Assam, Bengal, Bihar, and especially in the former State of Rewa. Compared with conventional tigers colors without white gene, white tigers usually larger than usual, at birth and at maturity.

The current population of white tigers includes pure and hybrid Bengal Bengali-Amur, but it is unclear whether the recessive white came only from gene Bengal tigers, or participated in the ancestors and tigers

The existence of the white tigers are not scientifically documented, despite periodic unconfirmed evidence that they have seen in the regions inhabited by the Amur tiger.
