McBarge, another official name of the building - Friendship 500. Sometime in 1986, it was McDonald's, built on a barge, especially for Expo'86 in Vancouver. The barge was moored to the main fairgrounds and serve visitors of the exhibition. Also, it was intended to showcase the future of technology and architectural trends of the time.
