The Atlantic Road
Small islands between settlements Molde and Kristiansund in the Norwegian county of Møre og Romsdal connected to the mainland by the Atlantic Road - section of two-lane highway with a bizarre set of bridges. Construction of the road was started in August 1983 and completed six years later.
For 8, 27 km highway runs on seven bridges with a total length of 891 m. The highest bridge raised over the water to a height of 23 m specially for the opportunity to pass under it ships. At a certain angle of the bridge, popularly nicknamed "drunk," recalls terminates roller coaster.
For travelers on the road, there are four glazed panoramic viewing platform with car parking and tourist information boards. On the grounds, you can take pictures, to survey the scenic mountains and surroundings (sometimes in the water you can even see whales) and fish equipped with walkways
