Carter Smith

A native of Maine Carter Smith moved to New York in 1989 after graduating from high school. He was attracted by fashion, and it alone. So Carter enters the Fashion Institute of Technology, at the same time doing fashion photography. And soon his work attracted the attention of magazines such as Vogue, GQ, W Magazine, and others. His work is distinguished by a certain lightness and subtlety. More and more celebrities are willing to do their photo shoot was with him.
Carter Smith also became a director of commercials for Lancome, Tommy Hilfiger, Tiffany and other fashion brands.
But in 2006, Smith takes a short film in the genre of horror films, and even received a prize for it at the Sundance Film Festival. Newly-born filmmaker does not stop and continues to embody the "dark" side of his talent, already taking a full-length horror film "Ruins" (2008), which also received a positive response from both critics and fans of the genre.
