Not a good time for excursions
On October 1, 2013 approximately 800,000 US public officials went on unpaid leave. The reason was a shortage of money in the budget to provide financial public institutions. Now in Washington, museums, parks, and everything else that belonged to the state is closed and the date of the opening is covered by a veil of secrecy. A word is not the best time for sightseeing.
