The Russian authorities launched a major rescue operation in the Kerch Strait in hopes of rescuing missing sailors and prevent environmental damage after the storm flooded at least four ships and split into two small oil tanker.
The ship ran aground near the village Kabardinka, 30 kilometers south-east of the Russian port of Novorossiysk.
