The number of deaths from intestinal
infection has reached 21 people.
Mass intestinal infection in east China's Anhui Province was struck by 2477 children, the number of deaths from the disease Enterovirus71 (EV71) has reached 21 people, reports of Korrespondent.net.
The number of recovered children now stands at 738 people. Over the past four days, it recorded 21 fatalities.
It also reported that 702 of the child are still in hospital, of which 36 - in a serious condition. In-patient treatment are still 1017 people.
As previously reported, the local authorities of the city Fuyana, where were reported the first cases of infection with a fatal outcome, and the provincial government of Anhui ordered to immediately report to the central government for each new case of the disease.
The spread of the virus in Fuyang City and nearby counties were recorded in early March 2008, when 789 cases were recorded.
