Festival Aphelio
Aphelio festival has been held for 130 years. During the climax of the event 1,000 people in costumes of the Vikings, throwing torches into a makeshift Viking ship. The event takes place throughout the islands, everywhere except in Lerwick, last sent ships into the sea in memory of the burial rite sea Vikings.
