Everyone was trying to figure out what happened to the skater. It turned out that he was seriously ill, at first without realizing it. Everything happened in early January, but the constant shooting and obligations to colleagues postponed the trip to the doctor.

One of the performances of the artist took place right on the street in the cold. After him, Roman’s temperature jumped sharply, and he had to call an ambulance. Once in the hospital, Kostomarov for a long time could not regain consciousness. The disease was already running to the point where doctors were forced to amputate their left foot.

Of course, all this affected the mental state of the artist. For a long time, he did not appear on social networks and did not get in touch with his loyal fans. And now, after 4 months, Kostomarov finally returned.

Roman shared his photo, in which the naked eye can see how much the skater has changed. He was very thin and became older. The disease takes its toll! Nevertheless, the man did not lose heart.



He thanked all those involved in his recovery: “Thank you to everyone who worried and prayed for me, believed that I will get out of this difficult situation that life has given me!” Many difficulties lie ahead, but I hope that I will cope with everything thanks to my relatives and doctors who pulled me out of the world and work with me to this day. Thank you all! There is a lot of hard work ahead.”

At the moment, the skater is in the MMCC “Kommunarka”. He is waiting for many years of rehabilitation, after which he can return to normal life. After all, it is necessary to restore not only physical health, but also internal harmony. It’s not every day that you lose everything you’ve worked for years.

She comes to the hospital every day. But his other relatives, especially his parents, are forbidden to go to the skater in the room. The man is worried that his appearance can frighten them.

The most difficult stage in the treatment of Kostomarov is behind. Then he waits for prosthetics and a long period of rehabilitation. This is very difficult, because not all dentures are suitable the first time. Roman already had one unsuccessful fitting, but the skater is not discouraged, because modern medicine does not stand still.



There are rumors that Kostomarov will go to Germany to try on and order bionic prostheses. The same can be ordered in Russia. Really, they cost a lot of money. The price starts from almost 2 million rubles. The most expensive Russian prostheses can cost 15 million.
