85-year-old fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev suddenly went to another world, what was the cause

Fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev Vyacheslav Zaitsev was born in 1938 and managed to experience many events in his life. After World War II, he studied as a textile artist. And then he started working in a garment factory, and not by whom, but its artistic director.

Even then, the future designer began to create clothes. However, in those years his efforts to appreciate was no one. Zaitsev developed a collection of uniforms for workers, but he failed to implement his idea.



But this collection of special clothes for women workers wrote in one magazine. And then Zaitsev was found by world-famous designers Pierre Cardin and Mark Boan. A meeting was held, as a result of which it became clear that Vyacheslav Mikhailovich officially became a colleague in the shop of foreign couturiers.

Zaitsev actively developed in his profession. For many years he worked as artistic director of the experimental and technical workshop of the All-Union House of Clothing Models. He created unique clothes, which were shown not only in the USSR, but also abroad. However, the designer himself from the Soviet Union was simply not released.



Only in 1986, Vyacheslav Mikhailovich received permission to leave his homeland and go abroad. He became a truly recognized couturier when he turned 50. He was recognized as the leader of Soviet fashion and began to be called “Red Dior”.

Despite the successes in the work, Zaitsev decided to leave the ODMO, which gave many years of his life. Just what he wanted to do was contrary to the state ideology and the requirements of the authorities. Many of the designer’s projects received support abroad.

Dozens of famous Zaitsev collections were presented abroad: in Paris, New York, Munich, Florence. In addition to creating clothes, the creator also painted. He painted paintings and arranged solo exhibitions, which took place not only in Russia, but also in the States, Belgium, Estonia.



In addition, Zaitsev created costumes for theater and film actors. This allowed him to make acquaintance with a huge number of famous people from the world of cinema. Also, the fashion designer dressed Soviet and Russian athletes and stars of domestic show business. For example, he developed a real friendly relationship with Alla Pugacheva.

What caused the death of the designer? In 2016, it became known that doctors diagnosed Zaitsev Parkinson’s disease. The disease adversely affected the condition of the joints of a man. Because of these problems, he almost stopped appearing in public. Moving was so difficult that Zaitsev could not even leave the house.

The designer has lived there since 2000. Zaitsev was sent to intensive care, but he was never able to recover. He was gone after 4 hours.

This was the main reason for his death. Who knows, maybe if Zaitsev had asked for the help of doctors earlier, he could have been saved. But there is no escape.
