In the Kiev region, a local blacksmith forged a fragment of the enemy Iskander into a park sculpture

With the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, life has changed dramatically. Artists paint illustrations about the war, about what hurts. And even from the remains of enemy missiles created unusual sculptures.

In the village of Tashan, in the Kiev region, a local blacksmith created a very unusual park sculpture. In appearance it is a perfectly made sculpture of a cossack. Beautiful forged elements and neat look. Everything would be fine, but it was made from the wreckage of an enemy Iskander missile.



The 64-year-old master said that in the spring, Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian missile. She fell on a farmer's field in the village of Kapustnitsa. For three months, for 12 hours a day, Yuri worked on the sculpture.



The master said, I was brought a piece of this horror. Forging it was difficult, because the body of the rocket is made of a very strong alloy, which is almost impossible to process. But I did it. As the Ukrainian soldiers shot down that monster, so I forged this evil into such a peaceful guy!

Thanks to such people, we do not lose faith and hope that good will win in the end. Even in the midst of destruction, there is room for something good. It is amazing that our people are ready to create something good and beautiful even now.
