Somewhere the holidays were not arranged for security and moral reasons. And somewhere, there are no schools at all to arrange a prom near them.

However, this did not become a barrier to the beautiful dance of graduates. Only a third of the class gathered before the school, as the rest of the children are still in evacuation abroad and in other cities of Ukraine.



Graduates dressed up in classic little black dresses. Couples of young people danced to the touching song of the Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil. Parents and Ukrainian soldiers were present next to the children. They recaptured the school from the clutches of the Russian occupiers, who chose the building as their headquarters.

According to official data, as of May 31, the occupiers completely destroyed 111 educational institutions. Another 830 facilities have varying degrees of damage. The rude and cynical statements of the representatives of the aggressor country are also striking. They point out that every educational institution allegedly contains military equipment or manpower.

Such statements are absolutely baseless and extremely false. The Ukrainian military strictly adheres to the rules of war and special conventions. Fighters bravely defend their land. To hide behind civilians and hide in general education buildings, kindergartens or hospitals is inherent only to the occupiers. The Ukrainian army has been heroically holding the defense for 104 days and is not going to give up.



Of course, it will take years to rebuild Ukraine after the war. Russia is systematically destroying not only schools, kindergartens and universities on the territory of a sovereign state. Hospitals, administrative buildings, roads, factories, railway infrastructure, hotels, residential buildings are under attack.

Some European countries have already expressed their desire to join the post-war reconstruction Ukraine. For example, the UK is ready to help the Kiev region, and Sweden – Nikolaev. And that's just the beginning. It is clear that such decisions are not made in a matter of hours. However, I would like to sincerely thank all the countries that gave Ukraine their friendly shoulder in a difficult moment.



Graduates who this year were left without a beautiful evening, I want to wish patience and perseverance. Now everyone should take primary care of themselves and their relatives. Friends, your schools may be temporarily destroyed, but they will definitely get a second wind. They rise from the ashesLike a phoenix bird of fire. It is you who will become the sparks that will not allow your home school to go into oblivion.



A completely stupid and groundless war was unleashed against our native Ukraine. But no matter how much it hurts every Ukrainian, we will definitely stand up. We'll go back to our favorite cities and rebuild them. Our unique strength lies in the love of our sacred land and in the sheer freedom that flows through our veins. Ukraine will never be broken by anyone. Our heroic army has already kicked the enemy in the teeth, and we need to keep our noses open. Hold the line. We continue to believe in the best.
