Read about the hidden meaning of the comedy “Home Alone” and broke down in tears, recognized his inner Kevin

Surely everyone at least once watched the Christmas comedy Home Alone, as well as the successful sequel to Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Movies quickly fell in love with the audience, and the young Macaulay Culkin instantly became a star of the first magnitude. It is a pity that he remained an actor of one role.

But Kevin from Home Alone It will forever remain in the memory of film lovers. And although more than 30 years have passed since the release of the first part, many continue to find something new in this comedy. And if you think about it, there really is a hidden meaning.

Kevin from Home Alone The plot of the film is probably remembered by everyone. 8-year-old Kevin lives in a large, but not too friendly family. And with his brothers, and with his sisters, and with his parents, and with other relatives, relations for some reason do not develop.

The boy even wants his whole family to disappear. And miraculously, his wish is granted - his family fly on vacation to Paris, forgetting about Kevin in the morning turmoil. And finding such a turn of events, the boy at first is terribly glad that everyone left him alone. But then he is frightened by a silent neighbor with a shovel, and later even learns that his house is going to be attacked.

Of course, our hero gives a worthy response. Cunning traps and other traps surprise two experienced villains. And the viewer will laugh at the boy’s intelligence and the stupidity of those adult crooks who turned from a great threat into an ideal target.

But there is something else in this movie. And we think the main meaning is already in the name itself. After all, Kevin in the movie “Home Alone” is really alone, even single. He is alone even when his entire family is with him.

My brothers and sisters don’t take Kevin seriously. All they have to do is wait for the pig to make fun of him. Parents are always busy (which is not surprising in such a large family) and they simply do not care about Kevin. And often everything happens so that the mother and father in disputes are not on the side of Kevin, but on the side of the abuser.

And this is amazing, considering that the character of the film is a very open and friendly child. He easily builds relationships with strangers. For example, he easily became friends with Marley's gloomy neighbor. He even helped his grandfather to establish relations with his son’s family, giving him simple but very sincere advice.

It seems that Kevin understands the lonely Marley and the homeless female dove (from the second part) for a reason. He is rejected in the family. The people who have rejected him are clear and understandable, and he feels a special connection with them. No wonder this little boy finds the right words of support for both Marley and the homeless birdie.

There must be a miracle in a Christmas movie, and Kevin is the miracle. He helped those who were more lonely than himself. And he was happy to see old Marley out the window, to whom his son and his wife and children finally came to visit. Kevin was still single, even after the arrival of his large family.

Surprisingly, the problem of loneliness in this film somehow do not pay attention. But after watching the movie, you think about what the filmmakers wanted to say. It’s as if they’re asking to look around to find those who live alone, like Kevin. After all, there are often cases when a person feels lonely even in the circle of the family, next to the closest people.

Have you noticed that hidden meaning? What do you think is the cause of Kevin's loneliness?
