Even in the USSR fashionistas wore scarves, the idea for those who wear hats is contraindicated

Capor is a female headdress that girls wore in the nineteenth century. The product remotely resembles a hat that looks like a cap that is tied to tapes. Our mothers and grandmothers used to wear headscarves and often knit a cap-cap for themselves and their children. This hat does not spoil the hairstyle, and it can be worn instead of a hat and scarf at the same time. Today we will tell you how to sew a hood with your own hands from a scarf.

Capor with your own hands Capor can be sewn from fabric or tied with spokes. Now not only elderly women, but also girls willingly wear grandmother's headscarves with beautiful colorful patterns. This headdress is more suited to the classic style than the hat. It is very easy to sew a hood out of a warm wide scarf or even a handkerchief.

You'll need it.
  • handkerchief
  • 1m fleece fabric
  • lace
  • button
  • lace-holder
  • shears
  • thread and needle
  • pencil
  • metre
  • fur

  1. Fold the fleece fabric so that you get a triangle. Cut this triangle with scissors. Then combine a fleece triangle and a triangular handkerchief, move away from the edge of the handkerchief 2 cm and cut off the triangle.
  2. Chop the fabric with pins and a thread on a sewing machine or by hand with a needle with a thread. Wrap the edge of the handkerchief 2 times, sweep it and sew it with a thread so that you do not see a tissue slice.

  3. Now you need to cut another detail from the fleece. To do this, measure the girth of the head from the top to the chin (A) and measure the height from the forehead to the back of the head (B). These measurements should be noted on the fleece.
  4. To size A should be added 3 cm, and to size B - 5 cm. Now we can cut off the semicircle.

  5. Find the middle of the scarf and the semicircle. Put the two pieces together and pull the parts around the edge of the hood semicircle. Then inside from its edge measure 3 cm and make a line. That way, you'll get a shoelace that'll put a hood around your neck.

  6. Smooth the product and sew a piece of fur to the scarf. It can be the fur of an old hood or even some collar. The main thing is to sew it in the center. First, sew the collar inside out on the edge of the scarf. Then wrap it and manually sew on the other side with a needle with a secret seam. 562582.

  7. Now it remains to stretch the lace into the cage, fasten it with locks and sew a button on the hood. Done.

The capor can be worn out, or you can hide part of the scarf under clothes. It looks beautiful and so and so. There is an even simpler option for sewing hoods. You will not need to insulate the scarf if it is a thick wool scarf that you want to sew into a hood. It is enough just to sew the back of the hood and sew fur and a button to it in front. This option is suitable for those who like to wrap themselves in scarves, but can not stand a wrinkled hairstyle.
