The director of a rural Ukrainian school danced so famously in front of graduates that the video collected a million views

Recently, a video appeared on Facebook from the graduation in the Mayachkovskaya school, which is located in a small Ukrainian village. A group of teachers led by the headmaster decided to give their students a farewell gift. They prepared a two-minute energetic dance to a cheerful song.



The director danced so famously that the video went viral and spread all over the Internet. The video has collected 1 million views and a huge number of comments. Vasily Masley is a teacher of history and law. However, he was recently appointed headmaster of the school. By the way, it was he who in 2017 initiated such an unconventional farewell gift for students. Since then, every year, teachers have prepared a group dance for graduates.

In addition, the director organizes rehearsals for parents of students. They also dance at prom. In the past, Vasily was engaged in dancing. There are also several dance teachers. So every year the teaching staff of the school tries to come up with something new and interesting.

For the farewell dance of 2021, teachers chose the song “Federico Fellini” by Galibri & Mavik. This was the reason for the angry comments under the video. Many felt that the Ukrainian school can not sound the songs of Russian artists. However, the director himself reacts calmly to the hat. He believes that all people have the right to express their opinions on the Internet openly. Vasily Masley is sure that such staged numbers from teachers are very important. With this dance, the principal wants to show the students that it is very important to be open and not hesitate to try something new. Do not be afraid of criticism, because it can not escape in absolutely any business. By example, teachers prove how important it is to keep pace with an ever-changing world.

Of course, there were many positive reviews in the comments to the video. People wrote that such teachers are lacking in modern schools: open, sincere, cheerful. Agree, there really is something in this.



When I was in school, I went to different classes and talked to different teachers. Some children were loved and others hated. But the students themselves were just themselves. Why is this happening?

Sometimes you look at the teacher conducting a lesson, and you realize that he just doesn’t want to be here. So do children. When a teacher glows and radiates love for his profession, he wants to listen, interesting with him.

I am convinced that it is not enough just to unlearn in pedagogical to become a good teacher. It has to come from within. In addition to knowledge and practical skills, A modern teacher should be a good psychologist.A patient and calm person who monitors his psychological state.



Many people don’t and burn out very quickly. And others suffer for years at an unloved job, just serving hours at school. Can such teachers be a role model? Hardly.
