The storm came from the desert to the south of the city of Phoenix and a few hours hanging over skyscrapers. Strong winds felled many trees, thousands of residents were left without electricity. Thick dust reduced visibility to a minimum, so we had to delay and flights. According to the National Weather Service, hurricane winds with gusts up to 96 kilometers per hour drove a cloud of dust at Avondale, Tempe and Scottsdale.
