Glass Beach in California

In the first half of the twentieth century, but instead the beach was a dump.
In the 1960s, the dump moved out, leaving behind a mountain of broken glass.
Under the action of the wind and the surf for a few decades glass lost their sharp edges
and it began to look like a smooth, colorful, translucent pebbles. You can walk barefoot without risking cut yourself.
Now, this place attracts tourists.
