Startup Uniti Sweden and Siemens will establish a joint production of electric vehicles

The attention of the German industrial concern Siemens attracted a small startup founded by a group of Swedish students who decided to make inexpensive electric cars for the city and have already managed to raise about one and a half million dollars by crowdfunding. Gadgets Now reports that the parties have already signed a contract, under which they are going to show their city electric car early next year.

The machine will be made of composite materials, it will weigh about 400 kilograms, the battery charge it will last about 150 kilometers at a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour. The developers plan to replace the traditional steering wheel with an innovative device that looks more like a controller from Nintendo Wii.

Uniti Sweden plans to launch mass production in 2019. The developers report that the car will meet all the requirements for modern environmentally friendly cars, but it will cost very inexpensively, only about 22 thousand US dollars.

Modern electric cars Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model 3, preparing to enter the market, are about one and a half times more expensive, so Uniti Sweden expects to attract buyers at a price. published

P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
