Volkswagen has created a new system defogger

For many years different manufacturers offer machines with a warm-up windshield with the help of threads. This method, of course, good, and enjoys some popularity, however, it is not very convenient, as in bright light can interfere with visibility. Volkswagen offers a different approach to automatic heating.





Volkswagen proposes to use instead of the electric conductive strands of silver which can be sandwiched between two laminated layers of glass. In order to heat the glass so it will take up to 500 watts. As an added bonus, it is worth noting the fact that the silver layer will reflect up to 60 percent of infrared radiation, which means it will work not only in winter but in summer, keeping cool inside the car even in the heat.





This glass can be optional to install on the following models of cars: Golf, Golf Sportsvan, Tiguan, Sharan, Passat and Passat Variant. The cost will reach up to 340 euros. published
