Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid

       




The company brought a new Porsche hybrid 918 Spyder first test on public roads. Spies noticed a novelty in the German city Visage. The prototype was a modified front part of the body, which is characterized by smaller air intakes and a new bonnet, if you compare a car with a concept, which debuted at the Geneva motor show last year. Porsche will only produce 918 units of the 918 Spyder model. World premiere of the production version in mid-September.





Hybrid Porsche 918 Spyder also has a different inclination of the windscreen, longer doors. Retractable spoiler will replace the big rear wing. The roof of the new supercar includes two removable parts, made of carbon fiber.



Engineers will leave the serial version of hybrid powertrain consisting of a 4.6-liter eight-cylinder gasoline unit with 550 horsepower and two electric motors with a total power of 230 HP. Also, the power plant will be equipped with a set of lithium-ion batteries and a robotized gearbox with double clutch.



As expected, the Porsche 918 Spyder can accelerate to "hundred" for 2,8 seconds. The maximum speed of a novelty will be approximately 318 km/h. the Price starts from 645 euros.
