Nemo 33 — the deepest pool in the world

We are called "swimming pool" almost any container filled with water in which to bathe. But in many countries a much more demanding attitude to this word. For example, in Brussels recently opened a facility called Nemo 33, which can be called a pool with a capital B!

As we already know, the largest in the world by the size of the pool is the resort San Alfonso del Mar in the Chilean town of Valparaiso. Its length is 1013, and the width is 150 meters. Of course, Brussels Nemo 33 has a much more modest size. But it is the DEEPEST pool in the world!

Nemo 33 is a set of troughs and gutters of various depths, the "small" of which is 5 meters, and large — 33 (hence the figure in the title). The latter figure allows that object to be considered the deepest pool in the world.

The Nemo 33 pool was created by the Belgian diver and engineer John Bemerton (John Beernaerts) in order to simulate underwater conditions in the waters of the resort of Bora Bora. Here you can practice different types of dives, scuba diving — from the simple to the complex.

The development and creation of a record of the deepest pool Nemo 33 John Bonerts and his team took about three years. But now Brussels can boast of its unique water complex, where you can not only go diving any complexity, but also to remove the films, which partially or completely takes place under water.
