LG begins production of flexible displays Bashny.Net

Recently quite often there is a speech about digital Newspapers, which is easy to fold into a tube. But if earlier it was just empty talk, now is the time flexible e-newspaper is getting closer and closer to us.





LG opened the mass production of these flexible displays with a diagonal of six inches, having a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. They can bend at an angle of about forty degrees.





First studies show that flexible displays from LG can withstand a fall from a height of 1.5 – 2 meters and slight blows with a rubber mallet. Their thickness was 0.7 mm, which is about this thick, protective film for mobile phone screen.
