Archaeologists have unearthed a new pyramid in Egypt

A team of scientists from Belgium during excavations in Luxor in southern Egypt found a new pyramid, which refers to the era of the pharaohs of the nineteenth dynasty.

The height of the pyramid — 15m, she was found by two archaeologist of the free universities of Brussels and Ghent during excavations on one of the hills of Sheikh Abd El-Qurna on the West Bank of Luxor.





Experts say that the pyramid, which is made from mud brick — the burial place of the vizier of Ramses II (about 1278-1212 BC) named hi. Guess high served as Pharaoh for 15 years, and its main task is to monitor workers who constructed the Royal tombs.





Egyptian authorities, in their turn, confirm the discovery of a new pyramid.
