Archaeologists in Egypt have unearthed the tomb with the mummy
The tomb, whose age is more than 5600 years old, is located in the ancient city of Hierakonpolis located between Luxor and Aswan.
As stated by the representatives of the Egyptian authorities, the Tomb was built before the reign of king Narmer, the founder of the first dynasty who United Upper and Lower Egypt in the 31st century BC. Inside an ancient burial site archaeologists found a statue of the man, made of ivory and the mummy of a young man's adolescence. Judging by the found objects, the teenager belonged to the nobility or the Royal family. The ancient city, the ruins of which are excavated the tomb was the dominant centre and the capital of Upper Egypt. There were found numerous knives, combs and ritual items.
