Norway has created a unique simulator that is able to annually save millions of newborns

Every day thousands of newborn babies and mothers die from complications during childbirth that can be prevented by using appropriate tools and training. To solve this problem, the Norwegian company Lаerdal Global Health decided to develop a series of available rescue devices that can help in the training of midwives and of obstetricians skills salvation.
In the "Collection Natalie" the system utilizes three effective, affordable solutions that focus on the acquisition of practical experience and training of midwives.
In developing countries today childbirth quite often accept the so-called "midwives" who do not know what to do if complications do occur.



In this regard, Lаerdal Global Health of Norway took an interesting approach and industrial design in combination with education. Their "Natalie Collection" consists of three long-lasting and affordable products providing the means and conditions for training of qualified specialists.





• NeoNаtalie Suction is a silicone suction device to assist breathing, which is made in the form of a penguin.
• The NeoNаtalie Newborn Simulator is a mannequin that focuses on the most important aspects of a child's body, the important areas that midwives need to know.
• Mama Natаlie Birthing Simulator is a wearable contraption that looks like a woman's womb in a realistic, but not to offend aesthetic sensibilities.
