Great comfortable house with a total area more than 300 m2 turned out to build a simple Japanese family in Osaka on a plot of just 40 m2. Housing came in all senses light and comfortable. Suggest this project to all cottagers note.





Architectural workshop of Kenji Ido designed a new house on the site of the old housing of the customer — a two-story house, in which, almost always it was dark. Development of the area came highly dense and heterogeneous, so the designers decided to "squeeze" into a narrow area, adjacent to the neighboring buildings.



It is not strange that the main wish of the customer — the maximum amount of light and space in the kitchen and in the dining room: neither columns nor heavy supporting structures.





In accordance with the lifestyle of the client decided to make the following layout of house: master bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, living room on second room for children in the third, and a rooftop terrace.
