In the Chinese desert, they built an amazing hotel-Lotus

In the Chinese Xiangshawan desert, 800 kilometers West of Beijing, there is an extraordinary architectural object property in the form of a huge Lotus. The Lotus Hotel project was prepared and brought to life by architectural firm PLaT Architects.



On a plot of 30 000 m2, near from the Hantai river, lies the white testoobraznaja buildings, which are arranged in a circle. Interestingly, the hotel was built exclusively with local materials, without the concrete and water.





Lotus Hotelбудет a part of the development plan Xiаngshawan desert which in this region will be other architectural structures.





One of the biggest challenges for designers is the creation of sustainable architecture zero energy consumption, in which the facility will generate electricity and recycle the water alone and in the right quantity.
