Created a new device that allows you to "see" through walls
Experts from the Massachusetts Institute of technology have invented an incredible 3D motion controller WiTrack system, which can identify the location of the person behind the wall with accuracy of 10-20 centimeters! While WiTrack will respond not only to move the entire object completely, but on the movement of its individual particles (arms, legs).
WiTrack without cameras or wearable devices — it is reflected from the object with radio signals. The alerts themselves are quite weak (approximately one hundred times weaker than Wi-Fi signals), but the 3-antennas-receivers WiTrack will demonstrate the accuracy of 97%. As the authors note, the project is based on a fairly simple and cheap hardware and software.
While WiTrack is at the prototype stage, but in the future it could be used in video games, control systems of smart house, etc. For example, a wave of the hand could turn on the coffee maker or, say, to kill a virtual enemy.
