Created the world's first glow-in-the-dark plant
American biotechnology company Bioglow has shown the world the first plant that glows. According to the creators, their miracle can produce light without the intervention of chemicals and any external factors.
The Creator of "the living lamp" was the microbiologist Alexander Krichevsky. He did it to "force" a plant to glow, adding to its genome DNA luminescent marine bacteria.
Glowing plant was named Starlight Avatar. It should be noted that sci-Fi movie James Cameron has the most direct attitude to this.
The company Bioglow believes that their innovation will be useful in interior and architecture, and even in the field of transport infrastructure.
