Why we hear tinnitus and how to avoid it?

Tinnitus ("ringing" in Latin) is a phenomenon characterized by ringing, whistling, hissing, roaring, buzzing and other tones that we can hear in one or in both ears. It can cause ear infections, stress, infections of the nasopharynx, hearing loss associated with age, an abnormal growth of the ear bones, disorders in the blood vessels and a wide range of neurological diseases.

But the most common reason for this unpleasant phenomenon, long-term effect of excessive noise (70 dB — your cleaner can work for this feature).
The surface of the cochlea in the inner ear strew of thousands of small, hair-like, cells, vibrating under the action of sound waves. These fluctuations are then converted into electrical signals at the base of the hair and create a neural feedback loop that regulates the brain. This neural loop allows us to distinguish fine shades of sound in the melody. But when these hairs are damaged or killed by repeated loud sounds, the main neurons are still active and send the brain a false signal that the sound exists, although in reality it is not.
