To conduct an effective presentation, the film company Sony Pictures, even the "dyed" one of the Andalusian villages in blue.
The village of Andalusia has long been famous for its whiteness, however, three years ago, one of them, Júzcar, changed its appearance. All built of white turned blue, as expected from the settlement of the Smurfs. Júzcar is located 113 km from Malaga and 25 km from Ronda, this quiet village has never enjoyed great popularity among tourists. Usually it is visited not more than 300 tourists a year, and now only in 2011 on the blue streets walked 80 thousand people.

The premiere of the film took place in "the city of the Smurfs" ten days before he was released at the cinemas.
After the premiere, the specialists from Sony Pictures have again arrived in Júzcar, to return to the village appearance. However, local residents expressed negative attitude. A referendum was held, the results of which found that of the 250 persons, only 33 voted for the white Júzcar. The village it was decided to leave the blue.
In recent years, life in Juzcar is in full swing. A steady stream of tourists, new jobs – that's what so long lacked the people of Andalusia. To entertain travelers, Juzcar regularly hold themed events: contest for the best picture, the night marathon and the fair, where you can buy all kinds of Souvenirs. Are here and original wedding ceremonies with the participation of "the Smurfs". In short, there's plenty to entertain!
