Scientists have developed a device for creating three-dimensional images of the heart
A unique device was developed by scientists from Georgia. It can be used to obtain a three-dimensional image of the heart vessels in real time. This will help the surgeons during surgery and provide the opportunity to eliminate blood clots without surgery. The device itself is a silicon chip with a size of about 1.5 mm placed it sensors and electronic processors. In data processing attended by more than 100 of interconnected elements 13 tiny wires.
The dimensions of this device allow to implement it in the blood vessels, where it is freely traveling, providing cardiologists valuable information.
