Juzcar (Juzcar) - is a small town and municipality in the autonomous province of Andalusia. It is located 113 km from Malaga city and 25 km from Ronda. In summer 2011 the picturesque village of Juzcar completely transformed when Sony Pictures has chosen it as the venue for the presentation of his new film "The Smurfs 3D». As part of a campaign to promote the cartoon put forward an innovative idea - to repaint the entire village in blue. That summer, a group of 20 painters took up painting 175 buildings, as well as churches, town halls and gravestones. July 23, ten days before the theatrical release, the new "city Smurfs" held a grand premiere.





At the end of the campaign, Sony is bent back Juzcar previous form, as has been stated, but the locals have decided not to paint a house in the traditional white color. Publicity through the media as a positive effect on the economy of the village, we decided to save the changes. 141 residents voted for and 33 against, to their homes were painted in a unique shade.

Earlier Juzcar visited about 300 tourists a year, and for the last six months in this place visited by approximately 80 000 tourists. In the village even organize special events for visitors, for example, a drawing competition Smurfs, fairs and even themed weddings.
