Greenpeace protests against Procter & Gamble



Greenpeace activists hung a banner against the destruction of forests in Indonesia on the building of the headquarters of Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. At the moment, the protest is completed, the Agency cleared the deployed banners, reports the Huffington Post. Cincinnati police arrested nine protesters and made them different charges, from vandalism to robberies. They were interrogated about the true intentions and past encounters with law enforcement.



Conservation organization has placed a 20-metre banners on the two towers of the P&G office in protest against the fact that the company uses palm oil from the manufacturer, involved in the destruction of tropical forests in Indonesia. At least, so sure of Greenpeace. The representative of the company, in turn, reported that P&G works exclusively with suppliers who use renewable sources of palm oil.
