Data on global greenhouse gas emissions will be available from the smartphone





Thanks to satellites, cloud computing and other technological innovations ecological information today are becoming more advanced and accurate. Now it is important to make all this information accessible for everyone. World resources Institute launched a website and mobile app CAIT 2.0, which will give any mobile device or computer access to data on greenhouse gas emissions in the world.



CAIT 2.0 provides information on 186 countries and 50 U.S. States. Experts say that it is very important when it comes to such topical issues as climate change. Mobile version of CAIT 2.0 will allow officials and leaders of regions in Asia and Africa to find current information, because in these areas is dominated by mobile Internet access. 82.8% of residents of the Republic of the Congo are opening Internet pages only on mobile devices in India, so do 65 % of the population.
Mobile app CAIT 2.0 gives everyone with a mobile phone or tablet daily updates of emission data and other environmental changes worldwide. It may use delegates to UN conferences on climate change to make its deliberations based on the latest facts as well as the leaders of the countries of Asia and Africa, who want to know about climate change.
