The Canaries will build the largest telescope in the world
Lomonosov Moscow state University, intends to create the Canaries supertelescope, where the diameter of the mirror will be approximately 60m. This was stated by Viktor Sadovnichy, who is the rector of Moscow state University. He, together with Paulino Rivero Bauta, the President of the Canary Islands, have signed a cooperation agreement. The project cost is 500 million euros.
