Spanish rural eco-hotel

Many rural houses in Spain also serve as family hotels. The house in Lower Ampurdan (Catalonia, Spain) is now used as such, although a couple of years ago it was a dilapidated barn. Architect Louis Ocuer completely reconstructed the house, preserving the old appearance and color.

From the outside it is difficult to imagine the comfort of the rooms, flooded with light, comfortable and stylish. The courtyard was also transformed, which received a modern pool with a terraced board. The interiors have preserved ceiling beams, wooden doors, stone arches and wall masonry, conveying the spirit of rural Spain and antiquity. Everything else is modern, cozy and comfortable.
