Canadian design studio Green Over Gray, specializing in working with “living walls”, completed a project to create a vertical garden in the new office complex of Desjardins. The “green wall” with a height of about 65 meters consists of more than 11,000 plants (42 species) and will serve not only as a decorative element of the interior, but also as a means of improving the microclimate in the rooms. It is also worth noting that the building itself, which is scheduled for commissioning in September this year, was designed to meet the requirements of the environmental standard LEED Gold.
