With the aim of increasing its presence in the Chinese sector of the Volkswagen Group intends to start production of 10 hybrid and electric cars by 2018.

In 2016 the Volkswagen Group is planned to transport to China Audi A6 hybrid and the new, not yet known, medium sized limo, which is being developed specifically for this market.





These cars will be assembled on the spot with the participation of SAIC Motor Corporation and FAW Group. In the same year, the manufacturer intends to launch a hybrid version of the Bentley plug-in hybrid.

Should pay special attention to the fact that the Chinese government shows the desire to fully stimulate purchase by the population of "green" transport. For these purposes it is planned to introduce special monetary incentives.

Thus, compensation for the electric car will account for 57 000 yuan (just under 10,000 U.S. dollars), the payoff for plug-in hybrid will be slightly lower and will amount to 33 250 yuan. However, ordinary hybrids will not qualify for state subsidies.

Practice shows that such measures did not go unnoticed, because for the first quarter of this year, China had purchased 15 percent more ecological cars than in the corresponding period of the previous year, which amounted to a little more than 880 thousand cars.

And by the end of 2014, the Volkswagen Group expects to sell about 3.5 million vehicles.
