This same mechanism is used to improve cyclist safety on the road: the mapping of accelerometer data on the phone and on the locking device allows to fix the drop, after which the device automatically sends a message to the phone and the absence of a response from the cyclist sends data to the selected emergency response service.





The electronic lock makes it easier to hire bicycles as access settings can be changed as needed. The battery charge is enough to ensure full functionality of the equipment within 30 days without light. In the most extreme case the device can be recharged using micro-USB cable. Lock Skylock weighs 1.4 kg, its design is such that it is necessary to make two cuts to open it, and during this time the owner of the bike will get a message about the persistent attempt of theft.
